Our Chardonnay grapevines thrive on the steep, foggy hillsides of weathered shale and sandstone in northern Carneros. A few days of barrel fermentation followed by 9 months of sur lie aging in concrete yields a wine that is intensely mineral, stony and bright. - JW. Alcohol 13.2% by volume.
