Blackstone carefully selects Chardonnay grapes from various microclimates in the cool, coastal winegrowing region of Monterey County. These vineyards produce grapes abundant with floral and tropical fruit flavors. After harvesting, a portion of the wine was barrel fermented, undergoing malo-lactic fermentation to enhance the long, silky finish.
